Salary data in PandA will be updated every two weeks.

At Beta, users will not be able to modify salary inflation factors in the Salary Grids, but will instead be based on a UCAR compensation schedule.

It has been determined that this is not ideal, so salary inflation will be user-editable by the time of the full release, .

  • Calculated by FTE (85% Work Effort Default- Editable)
  • TBD Position Calculated by FTE (85% Work Effort Default)
  • Calculated by Hours (100% Work Effort Default)
  • TBD Position Calculated by Hours (100% Work Effort Default)
  • Calculated by Weeks (100% Work Effort Default)
  • Overtime and Holiday Pay (Use Calculated Hourly Rate)
  • Field and Shipboard Pay (UCAR standard rates populated from the Rate and Fee Matrix within PandA)
  • The user can override the annual salary pulled into the grids for any person or TBD position.
    • The “Home Lab/Division or Program” that populates in the system based on the Person added drives the application of a CSC rate.  This can be overridden when necessary by each row.
      • In the TBD grids the user must manually enter the “Home Lab/Division or Program” that will drive the application of a CSC rate.
      • The CSC amount automatically calculates based on appropriate CSC rate times the estimated number of work hours per person.
    • The system will default to apply the Full Benefit Rate to each person added to the grids.  The user has the option of switching this to the Reduced Benefit Rate on a per row basis by changing the “Benefit Type.” Entry of casuals should be input in either the "Calculated by Hours," "TBD Calculated by Hours," or the "Calculated by Weeks" Budget Grids only so that Budget Summaries will be derived accurately.
