For a more detailed discussion of the differences between Simple and Complex Scenarios, please refer to this User Guide - PandA Getting Started - Simple vs. Complex.

In summary, the Funding Proposal is what will be submitted to the Sponsor.  In a Complex scenario, the Funding Proposal is a "roll-up" of  multiple "Projects" created under the Funding Proposal.

  • The Funding Proposal workflow is similar to that depicted in this guide for Simple scenario except that its workflow halts when "Feasibility Review" is complete. The Funding Proposal workflow will not resume until all the underlying Projects with their associated budgets complete the Project workflow and are approved.
  • PACUR in the Complex scenario is associated with the Project rather than with the Funding Proposal.
  • Budgets in the Complex scenario are associated with Project and roll-up to a Budget for submission with the full Funding Proposal.

The workflows depicted in this section show only the States and Activities required for "Project" approvals.
